Dear diary 260919
TBD
NOTE: remember; I'm pretty dumb. so it takes me a while to figure out some things.
3:30 am came far too early. And far too late.
Like a crusty sugarplum I sprung From bed at 8am.
Head spinning as I scored those red gold shafts of light through the living room. The morning sun was amazing. Perfect temp again.
I sat and soaked in it for half a hour of glory. Maybe I’ll get a decent fall tan. 🤣
I could have laid there and slept the rest of the morning. But I’d look like toast too long in the pan.
Quick aside: I’ve decided the best way to toast bread is buttered in the pan. Excellent. Excellent. Excellent.
I like people who have a facial expression for every thought.
I like people who squeeze every last drop out of life so that at the end they can say “I had fun.”
I like people who bring sunshine with them into every room, even if everyone else is filling it with darkness.
I like people who have a knack for turning random hangouts into core memories.
I like people who live so fully they'll arrive at 80 with enough stories to fill a memoir, money earned and enjoyed, and a heart that got plenty of use.
should be sipping café au lait in Paris instead of whatever adult responsibilities i am currently doing. Missing the Seine at sunrise.
People coming at 6:30 to screen 'The End of Oak Street'. CAN'T. WAIT!
Party party party.
Ng said people aren't coming for me. To remember that I'm not the center of attention. The statement confused me. I didn't know I was an attention hog. Just trying to keep the energy going.
BIG BIG change in my theocratic life. Blood isn't the barrier it once was. This is a ground shift. I suddenly need to know my blood type.
And if I get REALLY hard up. There's always plasma donations.
Spent the morning in teh ministry.
Good time.
Out to work on the ML now. Headlight polishing to restore teh factory shine. If I dazzle them with my new headlights, they won't look at the scuffed door.
I wonder how the motorcycle guy is doing.
Need to track down that oil leak too. Don't want to get stranded in the dessert.
Solving puzzles is a thrill all unto its own. Like figuring out Dantès in The Count of Monte Cristo—locked away, cut off from the world, learning to read meaning in scraps, sounds, patterns, and tiny openings. There’s something intoxicating about finding the hidden passage everyone else walks past. And stopping stinky burning oil.
So. Time to find a passage on gettin these headlights restored. 2:30. Guests at 6. I'll give it two hours then prep for movie night.
headlight polishing plan:
