Ninjas Shut Off My Hot Water.
Character, Little Boy: Internal: imagines he is a spy/athelete; External: shower is out of hot water; nude, but bubbles, shadows and design protect his modesty
Ninjas stole my hot water. I know they did. I was in the shower when suddenly it went cold.
I KNEW it was ninjas, only they would be that bold.
I wrapped myself in a towel all a-shiver, and out the window I did slither.
Up the tree I did scurry, defeating ninjas in a hurry.
I scampered on the roof, moving lightly and aloof.
Quiet as I passed the windows of my sisters three and hid in the shadow of the old brick chim-i-ney.
I held my frosty breath in the night air, as icicles began to form in my hair.
I counted to three and sprung from the shadows dark and deep, catching off-guard a silly ninja, named Pete.
Over the peak, I tucked and I rolled. To the edge of the roof, and there hold.
I watched and I waited, spying on the crew. What would these old-hot-water-stealing ninjas do?
Then out of the dark they rolled this rickety thing…, it was their Ninja-hot-water-stealing machine!
Down the antennae and onto the grass I did land, Yes into the fray now that I knew what they planned.
Those ninjas fled to the left and they fled to the right as I let them have all of my fight.
Then from behind, a voice unexpected…. “Son, what are you doing outside… nekid?”
There stood my Dad, pipe-wrench in hand… mastermind behind that old ninja-plan.
