The Strange Savageness of Time

Time is the longest distance between two places.
Two weeks. The last two weeks have felt like nine years. I can't explain why. But Monday April 28th was kind of a heavy day. And when I think back to it, in my mind, it was months and months ago. But I look at the calendar and count the days and impossibly, it was sixteen days back.

I have turned another year older in the period... perhaps that is responsible for this perceived time travel.
Conversely, I can recall moments from thirty years ago as though they were yesterday. A back scratch three years prior? Right there stationed in my prefrontal cortex. Unstuck memories.

Or, as everything I need to know about life I learned on Star Trek, this is a gravatonic anomaly dragging out heavy moments in time and making minutes seem like hours and days seem like years. Eventually my mass will move out of the distortion field and time will snap like a rubber band suddenly going VERY FAST.
That is all. Just a commentary on my shock at apparently becoming unstuck in time. I'll be sure to say high to Billy Pilgrim.

I wonder if they'll let me have a typewriter in the institution. Probably yes, but no ribbon.
