This is what refilling three fountain pens looks like. Why three? The red one is a very flexible super-fine nib, magenta, slightly less flexible and just fine. The blue is my workhorse, a medium nib that takes a beating.
The Magenta and Blue are Lamy Allstars. HIGHLY recommend if you want to traipse the deepest jungles of africa. They'll go as long as you have ink. The Schaefer is a luxury liner of pens. Just a pleasure to write and draw with.
But, don't lose ANY of them. You've heard of 'buy once, cry once'? Well, lose them and you'll 'buy twice, cry twice'. Still, recommend if you want flexibility in what inks you use and a long life tool.
