Where memory fades.

A collection of fragments, photographs, dreams, notes, and other things that accumulated while I was wandering around the edges of the ordinary.

Some of these have dates. Some have titles. Some have neither.

That's probably appropriate.

I wake with ghost. he's tired. up all night.

It is where it was left when the world drifted to slumber.

The haunting is neither ethereal nor corporeal, but rather, tangible:

laughter, light, presence.

Heavy dark clouds. Long, defeating sleep.

Instead: dappled light dancing on the curtains. The chirp of a cardinal on the rose bush. The ordinary world continuing to be the ordinary world.

If only I could sleep.
